Based in Costa Rica, our team photographs families and couples visiting from around the world. Our sessions take us throughout Guanacaste and Peninsula Papagayo, from beautiful beaches and private villas to some of Costa Rica's most loved resorts. We know these locations well, but more importantly, we know how to create an experience that feels easy when you're here on vacation. Every session is different because every family and couple is different. We keep the experience relaxed and uncomplicated, giving you space to enjoy your time together while we capture it naturally. The result is a collection of photographs that feels personal, beautiful, and true to your time in Costa Rica.

With more than 20 years of experience in Costa Rica’s tourism and photography industry, Sylvia Guardia has spent her career photographing destination weddings, events, couples, and families from around the world.
After becoming a mother herself, Sylvia saw the opportunity to create something new: an experience centered around families, couples, and the simple joy of documenting time together in Costa Rica. From that idea, Moments Costa Rica was born.
Today, Moments is made up of a carefully selected team of photographers trained under Sylvia’s keen eye, bringing together years of experience with a natural, relaxed approach to photography. The goal has always remained simple: beautiful photographs, an easy experience, and memories of Costa Rica that families can take home with them.

Josue has been part of our photography team for over ten years, bringing a calm presence and a natural eye to every session.
His easygoing personality helps families and couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, making room for real smiles, connection, and spontaneous moments. His photography is warm and relaxed, capturing the personalities and little interactions that make every family different.

Randy Chacon has been part of our photography team for eight years, with a love for capturing families just as they are.
His sessions are relaxed and full of movement, giving kids space to be themselves and families time to simply enjoy being together. With an eye for the in-between moments, Randy creates bright, natural photographs filled with personality, laughter, and the feeling of your time in Costa Rica.

Originally from Colombia, Sarah studied photography in Madrid before returning to Costa Rica, a country she fell in love with along the way. Her photography is inspired by fashion, natural moments, and genuine connections. She has a special love for families and children, as well as for capturing the romance and connection between couples.
She especially enjoys creating relaxed sessions where she can preserve the emotions, laughter, and little moments that make each story unique.

She studied Photography and Postproduction in Madrid and has a natural ability to connect with people of all ages, bringing a warmth and ease to her sessions that allows everyone to simply enjoy the moment.
Catalina loves creating genuine, relaxed images that capture real personalities, meaningful connections, and the little moments families and couples will want to remember for years to come.
